Dr. Fleming
Dr. Patrick J. Fleming’s practice has grown considerably over the years. He is intensely dedicated to family, continuing education, fitness and excellence in dentistry. This dedication has helped him build a growing list of loyal patients.
Dr. Patrick Fleming and his wife Deborah have been married since 1977. They have three children; two sons, Patrick Jr.(has a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from UIC), Scott(a junior in the Doctor of Dental Surgery program at UIC) and a daughter, Claire(a nursing student at SLU). Deb is a Registered Dental Hygienist. Other family members in the dental field included Deb’s father Dr. William Stoffel Sr., her brothers; Dr. William Stoffel and Dr. Ken Stoffel, Ken’s wife Jeanne, a Registered Dental Hygienist, and Dr. Fleming’s sister, Caron—Also a Registered Dental Hygienist.
A lifelong Chicagoland resident, Dr. Fleming received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of Illinois in 1979. Prior to Dental School he graduated with honors from St. Laurence High School and attended Loyola University receiving a Bachelor of Science degree with honors. He was selected as a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, A national Jesuit Honor Society. By graduating among the top 15 of his class from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, he was awarded membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national Dental Honor Society. Dr. Fleming has attended over 500 hours of continuing education classes. He has also completed the Prosthodontic Certification course for the Branemark Implant System and the Integral Implant System.
Dr. Fleming maintains active membership in the following professional organizations: American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, The Periodontal & Restorative Study Club (Past President), and The Academy of General Dentistry.
Pat and Deb Fleming have been active runners for years and both have completed marathon races. Pat has logged over 7000 running miles. He has run the Chicago Marathon 10 times, and qualified for and completed the Boston Marathon in 1991, 1992, and 1993.
