Dr. Peter E. Blazek has been deeply committed to providing meticulous personalized dental care for his patients ever since graduating in the highest quadrant of his class at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry in 1978. A lifelong area resident, he also graduated with Honors from Lisle Community H.S. and with Honors in Biology and Chemistry from Eastern Illinois University.
Because dentistry is a rapidly-evolving field, Dr. Blazek feels that extensive continuing education is indispensable. He has completed many hundreds of hours of both clinical and classroom post-graduate coursework in disciplines such as Cosmetic, Restorative, Periodontal and, of course, Preventive Dentistry.
Dr. Blazek is an active member in several dental organizations, including: the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry.
When not in his office, Dr. Blazek enjoys nothing nearly as much as spending quality time with his wife, Diane, and their daughter, Audrey. An avid photographer, Peter likes to combine walking and hiking with his landscape and city architecture camera work. Some of his images have appeared in publications as well as in local cafes and of course in some of the hallways and treatment room walls in the office.
